"That's not right!"

When was the last time you said or heard this? I know I've said it more times then I care to admit and it's used all the time in social media, politics, cultures and every other walk of life.
When I here this phrase while aware and consciousness, I laugh at how silly it sounds. But if I'm unaware or frustrated and angry then I am unable to see any humor in the experience and I get mad.
Why the difference?
It's being conscious, aware, and acknowledging the situation or experience for what it is. When we don't carry assumptions about how things are "supposed to be" we can observe with clarity and without prejudice or preference how things really are.
In other words, we can accept the experience.
Acceptance allows us to see what is and what needs to be done; which sometimes may be nothing. But, without acceptance, we can't know the right action because we've rejected something for being "not right!"
Next time you say or hear "that's not right", take a moment to become conscious and aware. Observe and accept rather then reject outright.

Conscious Breathing
We can use these skills to ground ourselves and cultivate acceptance which allows us to honor our reality, not reject it as wrong because it doesn't fit our ideas or preferences.
