some days, you're anchored like each bead in a well crafted mala. Sturdy, dependable, reliable and balanced. On those days, life is also calm, nurturing, non-dramatic.
Other times life is more like a cheap mala, the beads slide around, loose, uncontrolled, slippery, out of balance, not anchored and it easily breaks.
On those days life is frustrating, aggravating and contrary; it's a struggle getting thru the day - just like struggling with a cheap mala.
Both types of mala will get the meditation practice accomplished.
